"If we change the inner man, the outer man will change."
Andrew Collins, Jr.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
The Stain Your Brain program originated out of a vision from Andrew Collins, an inmate from West Tennessee State Prison who saw his plans for life drastically changed when he decided to "hang" with the wrong crowd. That decision landed him in prison for most of his young adult life. It was while Andrew was serving his sentence that he decided to dedicate his life to keeping other youths from making the same unwise decisions. The plan is to use his story to educate America's youth about perils of criminal life through frequenting schools, churches, community centers, and anywhere else the business of Staining Your Brain of our children is needed.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY FATHER, ANDREW COLLINS, SR.

TESTIMONY
“I believe that everyone has a period of time in his or her life that is a mind-boggling, turning point in them. Maybe it’s from the loss of a loved-one, a wedding day, a health issue, the birth of a child, or having been incarcerated. Well, May 6, 1992 will stand forever in my life as the beginning of my transformation. For on that day, I experienced the worst day of my life and eventually realizing it to become the best day of my life (the turning point).

On that day, I was sentenced to a 35 year prison term in a Tennessee State Penitentiary for making a bad decision by being at the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong crowd. While in the midst of this prison sentence, I began to consider it to be a blessing and a lesson because God still allowed me to exit that Hell hole and go back into society to do His will and His work after spending almost 13 ½ years there. The previous times God had allowed me to go to jail, I didn’t know what He was trying to tell me. I wanted to be in the music industry, but God had other plans for my life. I'm a living witness that disobedience can lead to severe punishment. On May 6, 1992 he began the laborious process of rehabilitating me and my mind from my then(s) to my now(s).

God has indeed penalized me, but He hasn’t disqualified me. I’m so glad to be able to express to everyone that God answers prayers beyond one’s expectations. Our lives can change with every breath we take. As we live this daily lifestyle, it is also important to know the impact of testimonies. A testimony will help others and also change the lives of non-believers.
