ABOUT US
Stain Your Brain (SYB) is a non-profit, 501(C)(3) organization, that is designed to attack the growing epidemic of juvenile delinquency, at risk youth and potential offenders through the lives of previously incarcerated inmates. Our youth are given and shown real life testimonies from real life situations that led us to real life consequences. Our main focus is to present a message of hope. No matter what temptations they are faced with, we want to encourage, motivate and help them Stay Focused.

SYB is a two-way street....it not only helps deter at-risk youth, it also gives former inmates an opportunity to give back to the community by educating young people about the downward spiral that a life of crime ultimately takes. With "In Your Face" discussions about prison life, these former inmates want to achieve one thing...saving lives!

VISION
Using realistic situations to relay the harsh realities of prison life, we believe, can deter juveniles from becoming delinquents and giving over to a life of crime. Stain Your Brain was designed to be confrontational (stain) as well as educational (brain).

MISSION

  • We want to embed a message of hope and show youth their future potential and overcome any of life's challenges.
  • To make presentations in schools on a regular basis to help guide the youth in the right direction and show them what could happen if they make bad choices.
  • If we change the inner man, the outer man will change. We're trying to be an avenue of change to a youth from the inside out rather than the outside in.
  • We will counsel at-risk youth one on one on a daily basis.
  • We want to target schools, churches, youth meetings and youth rallies, large and small gatherings, in any location to connect with them and discuss the importance of using the right judgments in regards to their actions.
  • To provide spiritual and motivational resources that will help transform the lives of potential offenders.
  • Prevent criminal and juvenile delinquency in at-risk youth.
  • To counsel and create a long lasting positive change in today’s youth.
